Writing is my specialty. For essays I usually crank out about 2 pages an hour with editing. The real problem here is deciding when/how long to sleep.

Last semester, I started writing a 12 pager the night before it was due. Night as in like 1:00am.

Miraculously, I finished and went to sleep with a couple of hours to spare.

I had a dream. In said dream, I dreamed that I fell asleep at page 8. I freaked the crap out when I woke up.

That was so weird.

I should sleep, I have a final in 8 hours I haven't studied for.

That has happened to me before. I think when you get used to procrastinating to the last minute, finishing early and going to sleep makes your brain freak out and think you'l miss the deadline.

Oh how I envy that. Here in small school land, you can't skip much class because your professors know you and will think less of you... it's all about keeping up appearances, even if I show up to class half awake most of the time.

Oh I agree, but times when you go and know you're too exhausted to get anything out of it are just miserable since sleeping would actually be a more productive use of that time.

Not too terribly hard to not use first person. Instead of using "I oppose this because..." say "Those who oppose this idea do so on the grounds of...".

Now the 12 page paper part? Yeah, that's hard regardless of what perspective you do it from.

no it was a bias paper, in which no personal bias could be shown.
all I know is that in under 22 hours, he wrote 15,000 words, over 12 pages for his midterm.

*not a college kid, talking about a college kid, makes no sense....

didn't want to worry you too much, but yes, 22 hours of writing! it was insane, and he looked like shit after it, but it was one of the best written papers in the whole class, so I guess he did something right
